Dear FAMILIES,
Our school is participating in a classroom-level coin drive called the All for Books™ Coin Drive Challenge. Your small change can make a big difference. Our goal is to provide books for all! Each day represents a different type of coin and dress-up theme:
- 3/4 Green Eggs and Ham Day- Wear Green and bring in PENNIES!
- 3/5 Oh, the Places You’ll Go- Dress as your future career and bring in NICKELS!
- 3/6 Wacky Wednesday- Dress up fantastical Seussical and bring in DIMES!
- 3/7 Thing 1 and Thing 2- Match a friend and be twins, triplets, quadruplets, or quintuplets! Bring in QUARTERS!
- 3/8 One fish, Two fish, Red fish, Blue fish- Anything goes Friday, dress in Red & Blue and bring ANY COINS!
The homeroom that collects the highest overall total will receive a prize. By donating $1 or loose change, you help us:
- Purchase books for classroom libraries.
- Give more children easier access to books.
- Help connect more books with kids and kids with books.
Please send your donation back to school with your child. Your act of kindness helps give students more access to books they’ll want to read!
All for Books means books for all! The Book Fair will be open to the public during Academic Night on Thursday, March 7 from 5:30-7:00 pm. Student can purchase books on Wednesday and Thursday during the school day with their classes.
