About Mrs. Einhaus
I am very excited to be teaching in Lostant. I started teaching at Lostant in 1991. I earned my Bachelors Degree in 1990 from Illinois State University. I completed course work for my first Master's Degree in 1998, in Curriculum and Instruction. In 2010, I obtained my second Master's Degree in Reading Instruction. I have taught First Grade, Middle School Reading, Math, Social studies and Science, along with Kindergarten. I have taught all grade levels Kindergarten through 8th. This year I am teaching a 5th and 6th grade Math section, K, 1st and 2nd grade Reading , 3rd and 4th grade Science and Language Arts, Kindergarten Science and Social Studies, and 1st and 2nd grade Social studies. It is so enjoyable to share enthusiasm across the curriculum!
I reside in Ottawa and have three children. My daughter Rachel graduated from Northern Illinois University and is working in Rockford. I have an adult son, named Dean, who works with car parts at a dealership. My youngest, Shelby, is in school.
I spend a lot of time at the barn with Shelby, as she cares for our 2 horses.
It is going to be a great year!
