My name is Amy Olson and I’m on the 3-8 team at Lostant. I am beginning my 29th year of teaching and my 27th at Lostant School.
I graduated from Augustana College in 1992 with a degree in elementary education and later earned my masters degree in curriculum and instruction from Illinois State University.
I have been married to my husband Michael for 19 years. He is the principal at Putnam County Junior High. Our oldest son Luke will be starting college this fall in Danville. He will major in civil engineering and will be playing baseball for the Jaguars. Our other son Chad is a junior at Putnam County High School. Our daughter Payton will be a 6th grader at PCJH. We live near Granville.
In my free time I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.
I enjoy the relationships I develop with kids along the way. Nothing means more to me than former students stopping by and checking in with me.
